We barely squeezed it in, but finally here it is, our August giveaway! We have already posted on one of our favorite places to take our toddlers to get out some of their energy, Gymboree. They offer classes for children ages 0-5 that focus on skills for the whole child from music to motor skills. While our entry focused on their "Play and Learn" classes, they also have classes in art, music, sports, and more. Check out their website for all the details! (http://www.gymboreeclasses.com/index.jsp) Gymboree has recently opened up a new location in South Durham near the intersection of 15-501 and I-40.
So, here's the giveaway. You can win a gift certificate good for one MONTH of almost any class of your choice free! This is great because their classes aren't started on a semester or seasonal basis, so you can join one at any time. As usual, all you have to do is post a comment on either this blog post or on our facebook page. Since Gymboree is such a great source of exercise for your whole child both physically and cognitively, simply comment on you, your child, or your family's favorite way to exercise. We'll randomly pick a winner from the entries we receive by midnight on Sunday.
What a great giveaway! Our favorite way to exercise is to walk the tobacco trail with the baby in the jogger.
ReplyDeletePlaying outside - looking forward to cooler weather!
ReplyDeleteLove to win! Thanks for all the fun advice!
As a family of 3 who lives in an apt our favorite form of exercise for us to include our 2 yr old is go to the tennis courts at our complex and run the court...throwing/chasing balls. Our son loves it and he just goes crazy with the wide open space. He comes back bright red cheeked and super sweaty!!

Awesome and very appropriate giveaway since our
ReplyDeletefavorite way to exercise is gymboree. Unfortunately
this is our last month due to daycare schedules, so
winning this would be amazing!
Dog walking. Every day! It gets everyone, even the pooch, involved!
ReplyDeleteright now it is swimming together!
ReplyDeletehaven't checked this place out yet, but would love to take my dd there.
ReplyDeleteWe are not good at this yet. Even though my kid can't walk yet, he still gets his exercise in! I tried to sit on the floor and kick my legs like he does, but it's hard and exhausting! I imagine that when he does learn to walk, walking will soon become running and he may never stop. That will keep us moving! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is an awesome give away. I am new to the area and excited to check this out for my 22 month old.

Oh fun. We haven't been to the Gymboree yet, and I didn't realize they had classes. Of course, I'd have to actually keep a schedule...
ReplyDeleteYay for Gymboree! We take walks to see the horses down the road every day.
ReplyDeleteWe love to take our kids hiking in their backpacks. My one year old in an Ergo on my back and my two year old in a hiking pack on my husbands back. It's been too hot recently though, so Gymboree sounds like a wonderful cool option.
ReplyDeleteWe love to have wild dance parties in the kitchen!
ReplyDeleteOur favorite way of exercise is playing don't touch the floor in the living room. We jump around like crazy people until we fall on the floor laughing.

We just moved here but so far we have enjoyed lots of trips to the pool in this hot weather!
ReplyDeletewow! great giveaway! our favorite family activity is walking to the playground on our street and running out some energy!
ReplyDeleteThis would be a great prize to share with my active 3 year old grandson. I have really enjoyed your blog for ideas for our weekly outings.
ReplyDeleteOur favorite family exercise at the moment is to "walk" in the cooler evenings down the street... although "walk" means chasing our 20 month old while pushing the stroller - what a workout, his energy amazes me!
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried it yet, but keep meaning to...
ReplyDeleteWith all the hot weather we have had this summer we started walking around the air conditioned mall. Great exercise without all the heat!
ReplyDeleteIn hot weather, gotta love the mall! Nice weather, love walking on my own street and noticing all the small changes.
