Pulcinella

What it is: On this week's family eating out adventure, we headed to a restaurant that we hadn't been to since before we had kids, but it's always been a local S. Durham favorite.  Pulcinella is a family Italian restaurant located in the Woodcroft Shopping center.  We have heard how family-friendly their food was, so we had to check it out.  While they had many great adult options like lasagna, ravioli, and all the other Italian favorites, they also had a great kids' menu with lots of options. After our experience at Pulcinella's I've realized that Italian food is definitely a good option for our family.  The kids' menu had chicken nuggets and fries as well as noodles, but my favorite option was the piece of cheese pizza for $1.50 which my son devoured.  They also served bread while we waited for our food which kept the kiddos happy and munching.

What we liked:  All of the food the adults tried was delicious and the kids really liked their food as well.  We liked the really inexpensive pizza as well as the cheaper lunch option adults dishes that were available at the time we went.  They even cut my son's pizza into bite size pieces for us, that was a wonderful touch! Oh, and they even offer coupons on their website so make sure to check those out before you head in.

What we would change: There are not many negatives that we can think of-the food was delicious and the kids were happy.  Food was good, prices were good, and we were happy.
