Carnival Delights

What it is: This eatery, located just off of 15-501 and I-40 in the Indigo Corners shopping center (behind the Red Robin), is exactly what its name suggests, a place where you can enjoy all different varieties of "carnival delights". They sell ice cream in a variety of flavors, sno-balls, hot dogs, hand dipped corn dogs, french fries, cotton candy, and funnel cakes for your dining pleasure.  In fact, it's the first place I've ever found besides a festival or fair where you can get a funnel cake, yum!  They even sell funnel cake sundaes in which they top the cake with whipped cream and fudge syrup.

What we liked: We liked they're focus on carnival treats that you couldn't necessarily get elsewhere.  They also cook them fresh, and you can smell the funnel cake goodness when you walk in the shop.  In addition, the prices were very reasonable.  It is also located near several other kid friendly restaurants including McAllisters and Red Robin, so you could eat at one of those restaurants and top it off with a little visit to Carnival Delights.

What we would change: Their menu does not have a lot of selection, but that simplicity is one of the things we really liked about the concept of this place.
