What it is:
There is also a carousel to ride on, an old-fashioned candy store and Santa Claus. There is also a family smorgasbord restaurant nearby.
What we liked:
This is a low-key, great way to view Christmas lights. There are trains that depart constantly and it opens as early as 5pm for younger ones. You don't have to wait in a long line or order tickets way in advance like some other Christmas trains or festivities.
Also it is extremely affordable. The train costs around $3 per person and they sell kid-friendly food such as hot dogs and grilled cheese sandwiches at a low price.
The candy store sells delicious homemade chocolates, sweets and toys and offers a great place to escape from the cold outside. The carousel is fun too with lots of lights. You can take a picture with the whole family on Santa Claus's lap (if you'd like) and get a Polaroid picture as a souvenir.
What we would change:
There really isn't a thing I'd change about this place, except wish it was a little closer. But it is definitely worth the drive.
