February Giveaway-Portrait Innovations

I can never have enough pictures of my little boys.  They seem to change so much in just a couple of months, and it's hard to document each little stage, each little smile, each new tooth or inch as they get older.  If you feel this way too, you're in luck with this month's giveaway!

Portrait Innovations is portrait studio where you can head with your family to get great pictures anytime.  Their photographers will take your family's pictures in many poses and several different outfit changes if you choose.  Then, you get to see your pictures immediately, choose your favorites, and have them printed while you wait!  For all the details about their wonderful portrait experience, check out our previous post.  For our February giveaway, this North Carolina-based business is graciously giving one lucky reader a $150 gift certificate!! This will definitely allow you to get plenty of fabulous pictures of your family.

To enter, all you need to do is post a comment on this entry on the blog or on facebook.  To gain an addition entry, let us know your favorite spot in Durham or the surrounding area to get a picture with your family.  For us, besides Portrait Innovations, of course, we love to head over to Duke Gardens to take some beautiful pictures of our family.  You must enter before midnight on Friday...

Happy giveaway, and Happy February!

Awesome giveaway. I would put Duke Gardens first too, but Eno River state park is also a great place to get a pic.

We love Portrait Innovations as well. I love taking pictures of the family in the yard when it is blooming in the spring or when the colors are changing in the fall. Though we also have some great pictures at Duke Gardens.

Wow, what a great giveaway. I'd have to say Duke Gardens, too, though I'm clearly not alone in that! We've actually also taken really nice shots at the farmers market in autumn.

Portrait Innovations is our favorite, too, but we usually only get the $10 package. It would be awesome to be able to order some of the cute individual shots they take of the kids! Our favorite place for a family photo is in front of our azaleas, which are always blooming right around Easter.

I've heard so many great things about portrait innovations unfortunately it's never been in our budget to go. We love going over to Duke Gardens for our family photos.

Great giveaway! My favorite photo taking spot would have to be my backyard when the dogwoods are in bloom. Or, if we are out, Duke Gardens is quite the awesome photo taking spot!

I've heard such great things about Portrait Innovations, but have never had professional portraits done (being a single mom doesn't give much in the spending department).

We love to do pictures at Duke Gardens too, but my favorite is taking pictures of my little man at the park or a museum, then going back about 6 months later to do another picture in the same place to see how much he's changed!

I have several favorite places to take pictures in the Durham area. Being new to the area, I love to take pictures around landmarks, such as the Bulls Stadium, in front of the Ram near the football field in Chapel Hill, and of course, at the botanical gardens!!

I actually love Portrait Innovations if we are doing a picture of more than one child. We have gotten some great pics from them. Other than that, I love taking candid shots of the kids outside. The natural light makes them turn out really good.

We love to take photos in our yard or at the playground with friends... the best candid shots are of the kids going down the slide. What fun!

Yay for giveaways! The American Tobacco campus has some awesome spots for pictures. We did our 6 month portraits right across the street from the Durham Farmers Market. :)

Potrait Innovations is a great place for studio portraits. Our family has a myriad of milestone ages photographed there. We also enjoy getting pictures taken at the NC Botanical Gardens. They have lots of great structures, sculptures, and benches that add a nice element to outdoor shots.

The lawn at the Nasher museum is a great place for pictures!

If you like an urban feel, there are lots of great places in downtown Durham to take pictures too - around Bright Leaf Square, Tobacco Warehouse, even just some of the brick buildings and smaller streets have great potential.

I love Portrait Innovations too, I love to take pictures of my little guy when he doesn't know it and he is having fun being himself. I got some good shots at Angels Among Us last year which is coming up again April 30th and raises money for the brain tumor center at Duke. There are lots of fun outdoor activities for the little ones.

What a great giveaway! We have never tried Portrait Innovations, but would love to check it out.

Of all the places around town, some of our best pics with my son has been at Chick-Fil-A with the cow. My son just beams from ear-to-ear when he sees that cow!
