April Giveaway-Bull City Craft!

Hooray!  April is here!  With it comes warmer weather, flip flops, playgrounds, outdoor music, and yes, another fantastic giveaway from a fabulous local Durham mom business.  This time, you can win a gift certificate to newly opened Bull City Craft for a FREE drop-in craft or 50% off two drop-in crafts.  I know I can't wait to head back in and have my son make some drop-in crafts for upcoming Easter, Mothers' Day, and Fathers' Day gifts.  Your choices for a drop-in craft include a bird house, house shadowbox, tote bag, card, wooden box, or beaded jewelry.

So, to win this fantastic giveaway, all you have to do is post a comment on this blog entry.  Since this entry is all about crafts, comment about your favorite craft to do with your kids.  Personally, I love fingerpainting on the easel in the kitchen with my son.  Just for fun, to gain extra entries, simply follow us on facebook and twitter, tell us about it in your comment, and gain an extra entry for each.

Here are the details: Enter by Friday, April 8th at midnight to be eligible.   On Saturday, I will announce the big winner on the blog.  If you include your e-mail address in your comment, I will also contact you when you win.  Please check back, and if I don't hear from you in a week, I will draw another lucky winner instead.

Oh, and don't forget to check out Bull City Craft's official grand opening on April 9th.

Good luck!  Happy Entering and Happy Crafting!

Ooooh I'd love to win! Ever since you posted the other week about this place, I have been very anxious to check it out...we're major crafters in this house :) I love painting with the kids, making paper mache, and learning new creative art to make together. Thanks for your website, it's helped us find many new treasures in Durham to enjoy :)

Great giveaway! We love crafting - play dough is especially fun with both the 2 year old and five year old playing together!

My Kids would love this! We are so going to check it out. Our favorite thing to do is make birthday cards- we haul out the markers, stickers, glitter- and just have fun. We also paint an awful lot!

Hello!!! My favorite craft to do with my 3 year old is painting and coloring outlined photos of him and his brother. There is a program on Picasa that allows you to print out a coloring page of a photo. We love coloring those pictures in and mailing them to our family.

THanks!

We love any and all crafts! The messier the better from my kids point of view (so lots of painting) but I like creative reuse of materials :)

We love to do tie dying, shirts, onesies, pants, tablecloths, you name it! This is a great season for it too, because it's a great thing to do outside in the yard / driveway. Also, if real dyes are too much, food coloring and paper towels make lovely wall hangings :) Thanks for having such a great give away!

This place sounds awesome and we can't wait to check it out. We love to do all sorts of crafty things, but our favorite is making cards for people for special occasions.

My three-year-old daughter and I like to glue cotton balls to paper. Doesn't look to special, but she loves it!

Crafting together is definitely my five year old's love language! She especially loves beading, but anything involving glitter is also a winner! Thank you!

I was thinking of taking my 2 kindergartners here over their Spring break to do a craft - I sure could use that gift certificate! My older two pull out the crayons several times a day to draw whatever's on their mind that day. They also make creative things out of any materials they find outside and inside. I also like to pull out the watercolors for all 3 of my older kids.

We make lots of banners and murals using big sheets of paper and paint and glitter glue. The kids just like to make a BIG piece of art. :)
So excited to learn about Bull City Craft. Sounds like such a cool place.

Footpainting! I tape down big sheets of paper to the floor, and we have fun painting each other's feet, and then stomping all over the paper. Just have to make sure there's a bin of water nearby for cleanup, as you don't want footprints all over the house!

my favorite craft to do with my kids is to make cascarones, a mexican tradition of filling decorated easter eggshells with confetti to then be cracked over the heads of friends and family. Makes for a very colorful lawn!
