What it is: If you are a regular reader of Stir Crazy Moms (We love all of you wonderful readers!) then you are probably familiar with this website, but we wanted to make sure you knew it was out there. Durham Park Locator is a listing of all of the parks in Durham. You can search the site by park name or amenity. It provides you with a map, address, and list of features for each park. It has been a great resource for finding out where parks are in the city.
What we like: We love that it tells you where each park is, gives you a map, and lists the amenities. In addition, it's nice to be able to search the parks by amenities so that you can find out where a particular feature that you need is located.
What we would change: We wish the site had a bit more information, like pictures of the parks. (However, I guess that's what we're for! :) In addition, updates on park closures would also be useful.
