Dressed up Ramen for Kids (and adults)

(Thanks to Jeannine for sending us this great easy toddler recipe!  I can't wait to try it with my picky eaters.)

This is a super easy, fast meal that kids love. Kids love slurping up the noodles.
But parents will love it too because you can add veggies and protein in a fun, healthy way. This recipe will serve 2 small children or 1 adult.

1 package of dry Ramen noodles. You can purchase lots of flavor varieties from Asian food stores and grocery stores. Look for varieties without MSG.

1 carrot, julienned
1 hard boiled egg, sliced
4-5 pieces of baked or fried tofu, sliced thinly
2 slices, ham, pork, or chicken or shrimp, sliced thinly
Optional: chopped scallions, thinly sliced red pepper or other veggies your kids will eat.

Prepare ramen with seasoning according to package directions.
Let cool slightly and top with sliced egg, carrot, tofu, meat and optional items. Arrange each item in its own section around the bowl like a sun.
Eat with kid friendly chopsticks and flat bottom spoons if desired (easy to find in any Asian food store).

Watch em eat it up!
