What it is: So, my son and I have a bit of a sweet tooth in the afternoons.  We've driven by this little stop for years and finally decided to check it out.  TCBY which I learned stands for "The Country's Best Yogurt" sells exactly that, frozen yogurt.  They have a variety of frozen treats ranging from cakes to smoothies and including the standard flavors of frozen yogurt with your choice of toppings.


What we liked: They have daily specials such as Mondays $1.99 sundae. (It was delicious.)  They also have fairly reasonable prices, the kiddie frozen yogurt also being $1.99.  In addition, being 96% fat free, frozen yogurt is a more healthy sweet treat than some other options.  At this particular TCBY they have several tables outside under umbrellas and an additional overhang.  In addition to these tables, they have 4 brightly colored kiddie-sized chairs outside.  It is the perfect place to sit and enjoy your treat while your toddler watches the cars pass by in the parking lot, plays in the colorful chairs, or otherwise enjoys being outside.  Each of the stores at Homestead Market is nice because with the way the shopping center is designed the kids have the room to wander a bit instead of running around the inside of the restaurant. 

What we would change: The interior of the TCBY is not that decorative or inviting.  The outside patio is definitely the place to sit.  However, I did notice that there was a little bit of trash outside on the patio to watch out for like cigarette butts.
