City Beverage

What it is: City Beverage is another great stop to add to our Just for Moms section.  Actually, although I have never taken my kids to this restaurant, some of the other moms have headed there with their families and had a great time.  So, this place has several purposes.  City Beverage has several different sections, a restaurant, a bar, a lounge, and a large outdoor patio.  They serve lunch and dinner, and they also have a wide variety of beer, wine, and cocktails.

Our group of moms has headed there several times to have a nice drink and some conversation in the evening.  The attraction for us was really the outdoor seating where we could sit and enjoy the outdoors while we enjoyed the night out.  In addition, they had a great selection of cocktails such as the pink pussycat, the sonic blaster, and the mystery drink.  The night that we went they also had half price wine.

What we liked: We loved the atmosphere and the large selection of cocktails.  It was a great place to relax and they didn't mind if you stayed as long as you wanted.

What we would change: It was a little difficult to get service outdoor on the patio.  In addition, since we didn't order food, we needed to head up to the bar to order instead of ordering at the table.  On one of the nights we went they only had one dessert to choose from.  However, it was a chocolate creme brulee that we all thought was quite delicious, so we really didn't mind.
