We live in Johnston County (just outside the triangle) and our favorite holiday tradition is going to see "The Lights on the Neuse". It's a farm hayride with a beautiful light display and music.

Our favorite family tradition is riding around to look at Christmas lights after church service on Christmas Eve. Of course we try to find Santa as we are looking at the Christmas lights. Once we think we have seen him, we quickly head home so we can get in bed before he comes to our house;-)

Our family travels up to Durham every winter to see the Moravian Lovefeast at Westminster Presbyterian Church. I grew up participating and now I love taking my kids. Great music to put you in the holiday spirit plus yummy coffee and rolls. (This year the service on Sunday, December 2, at 5pm with preludes beginning at 4:30pm)

We are a new family...my little one is three months old... But I am looking forward to making it a family tradition to find a tree, go look at lights, and of course participate in church services!

We love to see Carolina Ballet's Nutcracker each year. Not sure if this counts, but we also pick out a needy family we know and doorbell ditch a basket of goodies!

We are still making traditions since our son is only 2, but we are very excited for the Pullen Park holiday celebrations this year! chelseyann7@yahoo.com
