What it is: Everyone knows that I love consignment stores and sales. As kids grow fast, we need to find places to get great deals on their gear and clothing. This sale is another great option. Like many of the area sales, it happens twice a year so you can pick up clothes for both warm and cold weather. This time, it was the warm weather clothes.
The sale takes place in the gym of the Yates Baptist Church, and it was filled with all manner of gear, clothes, and toys. The had a huge selection of clothes, and lots to choose from in baby gear and toys. I definitely found a few items to take home myself. Prices were really inexpensive, and I felt like my finds were definitely good deals.
What we liked: I like the selection of items at reasonable prices. Plus, I like how the whole sale takes place on one day. That means you don't have to research the sale schedule to figure out when you can shop, just head on over tomorrow, March 23 from 7:30-11:30am. In addition, this sale has the added bonus of having many items be half off from 10:30-11:30 making great deals even better.
What we would change: The parking was a bit tricky when we showed up, but I found that if there weren't any spaces at the church, you could easily park at the nearby middle school. Also, they only take cash, so make sure you bring enough to pay for all of your finds.
