What we liked: We love the larger children's section complete with puzzles you can check out. We love the open feel of the library. However, the best part is the continuation of Rhymetime with Lauren. For all of the Parkwood Rhymetime fans, you can find the same program at the new library. We were there today at 10:30, and my son was so happy to go. He feels other library programs are just not the same. Not only does she keep his attention the whole time, but there are BUBBLES at the end! Needless to say, there's plenty to recommend this library.
What we would change: For most children, it is a good thing that they have computers at kids' heights so that they can search for their own books. I'm sure in a few years, we will also think that it is a good thing. However, with my two-year old, kid-height computers mean that he would much rather play with the computers than look at the books. So, it can be a bit problematic for us.
