Pittsboro Toys

What it is: As we said last week, we recently took an adventure to Pittsboro.  While we were exploring downtown Pittsboro we discovered a great lunch at S&T Soda Shoppe which we've already told you about.  Before we stopped at the soda shop we were across the street checking out another fun stop, Pittsboro Toys.  This is a great little local toy store, and a great stop if you're in the area.  While there's not a large selection of toys, they do have a train table for some kid amusement, some unique and locally made toys to peruse, and quite a few fabulous carved wooden toys from various sources.

What we liked: We love a toy store with a train table to entertain the kids.  Plus, we thought the wooden toys and carvings were so unique.  I would have loved to take home this beautiful little stool we saw in the back of the store!  Plus, it's a great little stop before you dine at S&T Soda Shoppe.

What we would change:  They didn't have as much selection as I would have liked, but the toys that they did have were a lot of fun-Star Wars, Dinosaurs, books, wooden toys, and more!
