What it is: First you pull down into the driveway, to find a hidden produce stand with ample parking. They sell a ton of vegetables and fruits, at reasonable prices and very fresh. The stand itself is new as of 2013 and you can tell, because it's built really well and looks very quaint and pleasant.
One thing that was amazing is that they not only have a constantly updated website but also an app to keep up to date with what they stock. For today they had listed all of the offerings: Fresh Tomatoes, Russet Potatoes, Jalapeno Peppers, Grape Tomatoes, White Onions, Nectarines, Red'Danjou Pears, Roma Tomatoes, Collard Greens, Spinach, Long green Cucumbers, Pickling Cucumbers, Squash, Zucchini, Red, White, & Sweet Potatoes, Yellow onions, Red onions, Spring onions, Avocados, Cabbage, Super Sweet White Corn, Bell Peppers, Oranges, Fuji & Granny Smith Apples, Strawberries, Champagne Mangos, KentMangos, Pineapples, White Coconuts, Eggplant, Garlic, Cantaloupes, Honeydew, Kiwi, Broccoli Crowns, Kale, 3lb Bag onions, Plums, Lemons, Romaine Lettuce, & Sweet Seeded/Seedless Watermelons. WOW! OH! And fresh handmade popsicles - from their fruits!
From the website I also found out about their long history. The operations manager and owner Donovan is not only the person in the logo but also a very productive young man, who carries on his namesake. Very impressed! The orchard was founded in 1970 by Dr. Reverend Joseph Perkins. It started as a road stand and soon became 3 acres of fruits & veggies. These days they rely on nearby farmers for the produce they sell. They sometimes use a honor system drop box, but when I went by in the middle of the day, there was a helpful employee there to process payment.

Their hours are 8am - 9pm, 7 days a week. In the fall they have gorgeous chrysanthemums and over 1,000 pumpkins at any given time I can't wait to go back for that convenience and good prices from a family owned business.
What we liked: The location is so convenient and has lots of offerings, with great prices and helpful staff.
What we'd change: Can't think of a thing!
